Community Work-Study
When students are ready for paid employment in the community, they can earn elective credit for the hours they work. More importantly, they can continue to improve employability skills through their individual work situations. Students may have an early-release from school to go to work according to their individualized Education Plan (IEP).
Credit is earned at one elective credit per 160 hours of successful work. Students can earn up to four credits per year.
