School-based work-study opportunities are for students with disabilities who need to gain entry level employability skills performing basic work tasks within the high school building or at a community career site during the school day. Both in-school jobs and community career sites are offered during the school day, are unpaid activities, last for about 45 minutes a day or 1.5 hours once a week and include the supervision and direction of a job coach on the job.
